An interview with the bondage Master Ming.


MasterMarc: Hello Master Ming. As i have seen the pictures of your bondage work on tumblr i was fascinated about it. It is a kind of art work and your passion for bondage is visible in every pic. Why do you love bondage?

Master Ming: Thank you, Master Marc. It’s always gratifying to know that my art resonates with people out there somewhere.

Kinbaku, or commonly known in the west as Shibari, is the art that can be traced back to as early as 17th century Japan. What started out as a practical mean to immobilize captives, Hojjutsu, took on eroticism and became an art to objectify and fetishize women. I find the history, the craft, and the exacting techniques fascinating, but was put off by the perpetuation of male chauvinism.

That all changed when I first encountered the rope bondage subjecting men. Suddenly, it’s no longer the exploitation of the weaker gender, but a power play among equals. The submission is an act of choice, not by default, and there lies the incredible impact.

 

mming-boundMasterMarc: What kind of feelings do you have, when you’re immobilizing a guy with your ropes?

Master Ming: Power, responsibility, and adoration. Power is aphrodisiac, it arouses me to play my subs like toys. And I take good care of my toys, and enjoy them responsibly, so to speak. And just like I treasure my toys, I treasure my subs. However, it doesn’t mean I don’t play hard and drive an exhilarating session!

 

MasterMarc: So is it first a possesive act?

Master Ming: Yes, for sure. Whenever a sub stands in front of me, following my instruction to undress, and ready himself to submit to my tying and all that ensues, I’m swelled with feelings that are paternal, authoritative, and protective. That this beautiful man is completely and thoroughly under my command, cater to every of my whim and whimsy, is a fantasy coming alive for both of us.

 

mming-dogMasterMarc: If I watch your bondage pictures the bounded boys look more like a sculpture than like a “thing” to play with. Is for you bondage part of the action, a tool to immobilize the object to play with afterwards or is it the main action?

Master Ming: Bounding is the prelude, as is the photographing. They exist to serve the purpose of arousing and enhancing all senses, much like the pain exists to amplify pleasure. Both are part of the elaborate foreplay that builds up to the main act.

My photography may give you the impression of pure aesthetic, however sensual and erotic they are. But that’s because I only photograph the bondage works. What happens next, when it’s captured on camera, remain private so as to protect my subs.

 

MasterMarc: I can understand that you’re not making pics during the sessions but will you tell us, what you’re into and what kind of top you are?

Master Ming: After bound and photographed, this is what usually transpires in my session: sub remains immobilized and blindfolded, he will then be gagged, spanked, flogged, fingered, probed, edged, denied… repeatedly, then milked.

Of course it could vary depending on each sub’s limits and thresholds, but you get the idea. I can be aggressive if it turns me on, and demanding, and driven. But at the same time I’m caring and attuned to whoever subs for me, even if he’s a 90% Dom.

 

mming-loveMasterMarc: Of course it depends always on the sub who is with you. I say often that we as master are serving the slaves too, just in another way. And taking care about the subs, protect the boys and also change the program in situations is part of our service as master. As you say that the slave remains immobilized so it shows me, that the bondage part is very important for you. You have told me about the feelings of responsability etc. you have in bondage moments but you’ve never talked about the points which makes you horny, what kind of sexual feelings you have and what kind of sexual satisfaction you gain.

Master Ming: I actually love kissing my subs when they’re all tied up. But nothing gets me going like giving a good spanking, as my sub squirms and moans, and sometimes begs for mercy, it just arouses me to no end.

And if the chemistry is right, I enjoy a good oral service from my subs. Sometimes I tied him up in a kneeling position so his mouth is on the proper level to receive; sometimes I tie him in a face up position so I can force it down his throat, stuffing and choking. This is where my sadistic streak really comes out, and it’s enough to push me over the edge.

 

MasterMarc: What has been in your eyes the most special bondage you’ve ever done and why is it in your eyes so extraordinary?

mming-empireMaster Ming: The most memorable is the merman. I tied up the sub from waist all the way down to toes, and wove a fin on his feet. But just as special is the setting: by the roof top pool of a penthouse in Chelsea, with Manhattan skyline in the background. You can even see Empire State Building, it was spectacular!

 

MasterMarc: I am happy that you show us the pic. It is amazing!. 🙂 Do you have still some pictures of bounded men in your head you haven’t realized? Could you tell us about them?

Master Ming: Yes! There are more where it came from! And the fun never ends… Full carrick bend karada cage, mummification, head cage, codpiece, to name a few.
