A BONDAGE HARNESS tutorial – written by The Kinky Boyfriend & MasterMarc.

Dear kinky friends,

The harness is for a lot of fetish players beside the cuffs and the collar part of the standard equipment of slaves and of tops. But what to do, if you haven’t a harness with you?

The Kinky Boyfriend, a nice top from the Netherlands will show you, how you can make easily a harness out of a rope. His boyfriend and pup Nobley was the model you can see on the instruction pics.

Cheers,

MasterMarc

The Kinky Boyfriend

My name is Nick, I’m 27 years old and currently I am in a relationship and living together with pup Nobley in the central part of the Netherlands.

Ever since I started discovering myself during puberty, I started experimenting – who hasn’t, to be honest? –  with clothes pins, rope, candles and ice, to begin with. My interest had been piqued back then, but it didn’t start to flourish until a good year within our relationship, when M. (pup Nobley) admitted he liked it kinky.

From that moment on we started to uncover what the world of BDSM had to offer us and I’ve grown into becoming his Dom/handler/keyholder – but to be frankly, being his boyfriend is the true basis of our relationship.

So far I’ve discovered that my main interests are flogging, fisting, electro and especially bondage. I like bondage because – if done properly – the sub gives away his control to the Dom, which is a huge turn-on for me. Besides that, I like that bondage can also have an artsy aspect to it, creating visually attractive ropework.

BONDAGE HARNESS

[columns] [span6]

MasterMarc: Hello Kinky Boyfriend. I know you’re enjoying more and more bondage with your boy. Why have you done this harness first time with your boy and why do you like to have your boy in this style of harness?

The Kinky Boyfriend: Hi MasterMarc. First, I’d like to thank you for inviting me to share this tutorial on your website. I came across this harness somewhere on the internet, I believe. I got intrigued by the combination of the bondage itself and the aesthetics of it. Before this harness I used bondage just to tie my boy up, without considering the looks. It was my first realisation that bondage can be beautiful to look at as well and I could get more creative with my ropes.

I like using this particular one as it is fairly easy to do and you can still have variations of this harness. In the tutorial I tied my boy’s arms together behind his back, but you could also incorporate his arms in the harness along the length of it or even leave his arms free and let the boy wear the harness underneath his clothes.

MasterMarc: What kind of material do we need for this bondage harness and what is the preparation we have to do?

The Kinky Boyfriend: You would only need two things: rope and a sub/boy/willing victim. I used 15 meters of 9mm rope (from the local kinkshop) for this tutorial. Variations (incorporating the arms on the side or leaving the arms) would require a different length of rope. This particular rope is a bit stretchy, so it tends to loosen after a while. Nowadays I mostly use synthetic hemp rope, which has less stretch.

The only actual preparation you would need is to read through the tutorial and get to know the various steps of the harness. Of course, the fundamentals (trust and consent) of BDSM should be taken into account before you start. For example, think of a pair of scissors in case a quick release is needed and make sure the rope isn’t too tight (and causing a tingling sensation) especially in the inner wrist area.

MasterMarc: Hey Kinky Boyfriend. Thank you for presenting togehter with your boy this tutorial. And now it is up to you to show us, how we can do a bondage harness.

  1. Find the middle of the rope and tie two knots from there on: get a small loop at the end and the space between the two knots has to be big enough to fit a head through.
  2. Get your sub’s head through the two knots.

[/span4][span4]

Add more knots along the length of the body. The more knots you tie, the more rope is needed. Try to place the knots with equal spacing inbetween for a symmetrical look.

[/span4][span4]

Pass the two ends of the rope via the groin to the back (make sure it isn’t too tight at the tailbone)…

…where you pull it through the small loop.

[/span4][span4]

When pulled through, pass the loose ends to the front via the chest.t.

[/span4][span4]

Pull through to the space between the upper knots and go back again.

[/span4][/columns]

[columns] [span4]

8/9. Go back and forth like 6/7. until you got your harness completed all the way down the torso

[/span4][span4]

(Picture 9 doesn’t show the bottom rope sideways, like shown in 14.)

Make sure the ropes are tightly tied evenly along the body, for comfort and best results visually.

[/span4][span4]

When done pulling through the spaces between the knots, get to the back and intertwine the ropes, so one is going up and the other going down.

[/span4][/columns]

That’s it, you can now knot the rope so and finish your harness or you continue with steps 11-13 to fix your boy’s hand behind his back.

[columns] [span4]

11. Get your sub’s hands between the loose ends of the rope.

[/span4][span4]

12. Wrap the rope around the wrist vertically a couple of times…

[/span4][span4]

13. …and finish off by wrapping around the rope between the wrists.

[/span4][/columns]

and this is the result ….
