If you aren’t hurting yourself, and you aren’t hurting anyone else, then you should let your freak flag flyEric – CrinklyConnor’s therapist
When have you felt, that you’re interested in the ABDL fetish and what have been your first steps into the ABDL and diapers world?
In hindsight, I would say that I’ve always been into this sort of lifestyle, however I didn’t realize and accept this part of me until I was 11 years old. I used to take diapers from a couple of different friend’s houses secretly when I could and began to wear them underneath my clothing, of course. I also joined a site that use to allow 13+ individuals on a forum to discuss this part of ourselves and to understand that we weren’t alone.
What is for you the attraction of being in the baby headspace?
As most people that know me very well know, almost anything can really set me off into the attraction of the baby or “little” headspace. I absolutely love being talked down to as if I’m a genuine child, and it’s even more reinforcing when people I don’t know talk to me in that way. Another way that gets me into that mode is when I’m taken out and about and the people I’m with act bigger than me and act as if it’s normal for me to be in my pseudo-toddler form. Diaper checks and changes whenever are a must as well! I have a whole slew of items to perfect my Adult Baby world: pacifiers, diapers, onesies and the usual baby/toddler get-up, you name it.
What is for you the turn on when you’re wearing diapers? Can you tell us more about the emotions and sensations you have by wearing it?
Focusing solely on the diapers themselves, and as someone who has worn diapers 24/7 for over a year and a half now, I would say the feeling of a warm, wet diaper, and even the effects of going #2 and feeling it mush around is very satisifying to my emotional hunger for being an Adult Baby. The sensation of being wiped all over and placed into a new, clean diaper with lotion and baby powder is also an amazing experience, especially when in a tired state. Most of the time, I’m just glad to be wearing a diaper period, but a lot of times I most definitely like being in a thicker diaper than your average just to get the sensation of waddling as I walk, and feeling my bottoms (my shortalls, shorts, pants, or whatever else) hug the diaper around and thus allowing the diaper to hug around my entire bottom.
Can you tell us a little about the action of the adult baby game? What happened there and what are the points which are giving you satisfaction?
Being an Adult Baby that’s also out about the lifestyle, I’ve had many experiences with the help of my caregiver / daddy. I’m small enough to fit into an authentic Fisher Price highchair which has allowed me to eat many a meal on the tray of it.
I also have a large playpen in my basement which can fit a few of adult-sized people, and having the ability to go in there and play with my toys gives me tons of satisfaction of being able to go into the baby headspace.
I’ve also attended an ageplay convention which has allowed me to see many of my friends in the community as we all get together and make up our own fun with our own imaginations.
Can you tell us about the sexual aspects of your fetish? Is domination and SM also part of it?
I’m not an entirely sexual person overall, but I can say that when I do get aroused, the only thing that gets me off is thinking about all of my fantasies as an
Adult Baby, some more feasible than others, along with a mix of chastity and the thought of how myself as a “little boy” shouldn’t be doing naughty things – which is where the chastity part comes in. There is a little bit of domination, but that’s more in the ABDL lifestyle that I have with my daddy more than a sexual aspect of our relationship.
Was it difficult to out yourself as ABDL? Have you had problems with it, how do you find your daddies and other abdl lovers and do you have any advices for other abdl newbies?
I did struggle at times with my interests in ageplaying and as an ABDL, and it took me several years to feel wholeheartedly okay with the fact that this sort of thing wasn’t going to go away. As someone who started very, very early on in the community, I was lucky to be able to find good people who directed me to the safe resources of someone who couldn’t participate in the more risqué things the community offered.
I went through therapy and had a very good therapist who’s blunt statements got through to me when I mentioned the subject of ABDL and how I felt like “a freak”. His words were “If you aren’t hurting yourself, and you aren’t hurting anyone else, then you should let your freak flag fly” which really resonated with me and allowed me to get the confidence to come out of my shell, be comfortable with who I am and be myself.
I met my daddy through Fetlife briefly and not too long after met him at a furry convention which was well known for having a lot of babyfurs. We got to talking for a while and he moved to my city, took me in, and now we’re not only together in the ABDL sense, but we’re dating now too!
I would recommend to anyone that’s new to the ABDL community and the concept to keep an open mind and allow yourself to make new friends. Never try and throw any of your stuff related to this away as it’ll come back again eventually. Never let anyone make you feel ashamed or put you down. You will sometimes hear far-reaching insults that aren’t true about yourself – it’s best to educate or ignore those people. There is no right way to be an Adult Baby.
